Accounts receivable services for Dallas–Fort Worth businesses

Mitt is based in Dallas–Fort Worth and is onboarding its first pilot clients here. If you run a B2B business in the Metroplex and invoice follow-up keeps falling through the cracks, we'd like to help, in your name and with a person you can actually meet.

Who we work with in DFW

Mitt works with small and mid-sized businesses that sell to other businesses and invoice on terms, typically on QuickBooks Online and under $20 million in revenue. That includes companies across Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Irving, Frisco and the rest of the Metroplex, for example:

  • Distributors and wholesalers with many customers on net-30 or net-45 terms.
  • Contractors, trades and facilities services businesses billing commercial clients.
  • Manufacturers, fabricators and suppliers.
  • Staffing, logistics, IT and professional services firms with recurring B2B invoices.

We only work on business-to-business invoices. We don't handle consumer debts.

Not a Dallas collection agency

Search for "collections Dallas" and most of what you'll find are collection agencies: third parties that pursue accounts after they've gone bad, in their own name, often for a percentage of what they recover. That has its place as a last resort.

Mitt does something different. We work earlier, as part of your team. Reminders and replies go out in your company's name, from your email address, in a calm and professional tone. The aim is the steady follow-through a good in-house AR person would provide, so fewer accounts ever reach the point where an agency is the only option. We don't send third-party collection letters or use pressure tactics, and write-offs, credits and settlements are always your call. More on that difference in our outsourced accounts receivable overview.

What we handle

  • Reminders before and after due dates, with the invoice and a way to pay attached.
  • Customer replies: AI drafts answers to routine requests like invoice copies, PO numbers and payment dates; our team oversees what goes out and handles escalations; disputes and sensitive issues come to you.
  • A customer payment page that pays straight into your QuickBooks. Mitt never holds your money.
  • Cash application and collections forecasts with full AR.
  • Plain-English summaries of what was sent, what customers said, what was paid and what needs your decision.

Why local helps

Most of the work happens over email, and we can work with businesses anywhere in the U.S. But being in DFW means a few practical things for local clients:

  • We can meet in person for setup and check-ins if you'd like to.
  • We're on Central time, so we're working when you and most of your Texas customers are.
  • We can work alongside your local bookkeeper, CPA or fractional CFO, and we're glad to sit down with them too.

Our DFW pilot

We're a new company, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise. We're onboarding a small number of DFW pilot clients now. The pilot runs for 60 days with onboarding waived: we set it up, our team runs it on your real receivables, you read the summaries, and then you decide. The customer payment page, QuickBooks Online connection and forecasts launch with our pilot clients, and we set each one up with you as it goes live.

Pricing for AR follow-up starts from $1.25 per invoice with a $750 monthly minimum. Full AR is quoted per client. Final terms are set out in a written agreement before any work begins.

For DFW bookkeepers, CPAs and fractional CFOs

If some of your clients need more invoice chasing than your engagement covers, we can handle that follow-up while you keep the client relationship. We offer a free AR health check for any client you introduce, and a disclosed referral fee or a client discount instead if you prefer. See details for partners.
